Why Pilot Handbook VR?

The Pilot Handbook VR for Aero Boero, is a tool developed for Android™ devices, which you can download it for free, on Google Play Store, and consists of an electronic pocket handbook, that allows audiovisual resources of interactivity, including sliding screens and Virtual Reality (VR).
Swipe through technical information of Aero Boero and immerse in its Virtual Cockpit, familiarizing yourself with the cabin and instruments.

The main objective of the PHVR is to provide students and ranked pilots, with an interactive, quick, objective and modern consultation, during the "ground school" phase and during the familiarization with the systems, and with the standardization of operation of the aircraft.

Aero Boero - AB11

The Aero Boero is an Argentine-made aircraft, started to be built around the 70's, where its original design changed in Brazilian territory, with the intention of being used in large scale for primary lesson flights, where still today, continuing gives wings to the dreams of beginners aviation professionals across Brazil.
Its structure consists basically of weaving over tubular structure, and metal wings. It is a conventional single-engine, fixed landing gear aircraft, and can carry up to three occupants, with the rear controls removed.

Its consumption is approximately 25 liters an hour, with an endurance estimated in 4.5 total flight hours.

Classic: Aérodrome Nº5 - 1896

O aeroplano construído pelo professor Samuel Pierpont Langley (1834 - 1906), que se tornou secretário do Smithsonian Institution em 1887, foi batizado de Aérodrome Nº5. Após inúmeras tentativas sem sucesso de seus modelos anteriores, desde 1891, com designs frágeis e incapazes de se sustentar no ar, Langley obteve seu primeiro sucesso em 06 de maio de 1896, com seu Aérodrome Número 5, quando foi realizado o primeiro voo bem sucedido de um mais pesado que o ar, não tripulado e sustentado por motor, e com um tamanho em escala substancial. O aeroplano foi lançado por uma catapulta atuada por molas, montada no topo de uma barcaça sobre o rio Potomac, no estado da Virginia. A tentativa mais bem sucedida foi um voo em círculos de 1005 m (3,300 ft) a uma velocidade de aproximadamente 40 km/h (25 mph). Na ocasião, o Aérodrome 5 pousou no rio, conforme planejado, pois na intenção de reduzir o peso, o aparelho não possuía trem de pouso.

Em 22 de maio do mesmo ano, foi publicada uma nota do feito, no periódico americano Science, assinado por ninguém menos que Alexander Graham Bell, que dizia o seguinte:"Na última quarta-feira, 6 de maio, testemunhei um experimento notável com o Aérodrome, do professor Langley, no rio Potomac; de fato, o experimento foi de tal importância histórica que deve tornar-se público. Ninguém poderia testemunhar este experiennto sem ficar convencido que foi demonstrada a praticabilidade do voo mecânico".
